oil stains on hi viz

Has anyone tried to remove oil stains on hi viz waterproofs using Swarfega? I may be about to. Washing three times has not worked. They're soaking in bicaronate of soda, but that doesn't seem to be working.

swarfega is pretty benign iirc it was my ol mams go-to remedy for stains and Very effective when it comes to bike oil stains.. shouldnt hasve any negative impact, hope im not proven wrong..

I've used swarfega on tyres(the retro skinwall type) using a stiff bristled brush and while it gets out most of it, there will always be residue staining there.

So I dont think you will ever get them perfectly or completely clean again, such is the nature of the oil stuff. Just do the best you can and live with the results rather than damage the material with too much scrubbing.

Making hiviz lowviz, is the only viable solution I've found.
