It looks good for the money, apart from the 24V 8Ah battery.

Looks like a nice buy, but how do they do it for the money.
Most likely buy a container full of bikes from China. Even with overheads and import fees etc., there's still a nice little profit. D8veh could probably tell us what the Chinese manufacturer knocks these out for.

Amazes me how the seller can deliver 26kg of total packaging for less than a tenner.

Tuffnells charge about £35 + VAT for that size and weight.
There is an issue with cheap bikes like this.
The cost of repair.

No, the seller is UK based. Mmmmm, Tuffnells is a sore subject for me. They managed to lose 3 large sacks of cat litter, weighing around 12 kilos each, that I ordered :eek:

And you're right, there could be an issue with repair costs or turnaround time with warranty claims. As I mentioned previously, my first bike was a cheapo Cyclamatic and I had thousands of miles of fun with that one.
