North East Bosch Servicing/Suppliers

Hi all,

Please could you tell me if any of you know of a supplier/servicing agent for Bosch drive bikes in the North East of England? The nearest I can find is York which is still quite a trip for me.

Hi Meddler,

It might be worth noting that the motor itself needs little servicing, it is sealed from new and the motor should only be opened in the event of a problem.

These Bosch motors are bullet proof as everyone knows.
You can take your ebike into any bike shop for servicing as all the other components are that of a normal bike.

Should you ever get a Bosch problem.... Well you know where I am!

There is an ebike department run by a guy called Vince.

He's very helpful but I think his expertise is more in electrics and hub motors, rather than crank drives.

Its called the Electric Bike Shed, tel: 0191 4274739, in Henry Robson Way, I think its the same people as the Sports Recycler, all I know is that they sell Oxygen bikes.
