Ah it's not just mine then, it's working at the moment but has been very erratic for over a week now with a number of complete outages. I believe from your website address that you have the same ISP as me and it would seem they're having problems.

I think recent special offers of telephone line rental + broadband have increased customer numbers beyond what they can cope with.

Yes, Tiscali have admitted to me that they are having big problems. Frankly, they've always been lousy, but I hang on with them as I have 120 mb of website space across four website addresses from them, completely free.

A freind of mine owns a half share in a single engined Eurostar aircraft and flies to Robin Hood when they waive the landing fees for visiting aircraft, presumably to increase visitor numbers and give the illusion of a busy airport.

A pity the aircraft isn't big enough to hold a bike.

they must be xpecting mssive growth in the airport and hundreds of new huse have gone up, areas of old little shop units where forcebly sod and area flattened, lots of new style office's built ready for the invasion of business's.. however as only one runways, although not sure if not one of the longest...they will need to build more if they capture demand...they have just completed a new stretch of road that i think links off the motorway and talk of a new line going there from doncaster for rail link...half hope it doesnt...pardon the pun..."take off" as i like the quiet area as it is, dont want it spoiling...its a nice area for bike riding without too much traffic hazard.....

I stick with them because they're cheap, £20 a month for line rental, phone calls and broadband, although a recent upgrade to (up to) 8Mbps has made very little difference to speed but has been very detrimental to reliability, a couple of hours down time most days although on the good days it's while I'm at work.

Same trouble here since the 8mb introduction. I'd switch providers, but that means losing the website addresses for Torq/Quando and Lafree/Kalkhoff which are known and linked to from all over the place at present.

I've had to switch a number of times over the years, and now get over the change of address problem with a small annual fee to

Pobox.com - Email Forwarding, Personal Domains, Spam Protection

They do email and web urls and are very sound and reliable I find.
