Hi and hello, recently bought an ebike and I have to say it has brought pleasure back to my cycling after many years of struggling on with peripheral arterial disease. I plumped for the BMC after a little research, crank motor, reasonable weight and the rear suspension (which is a nod to my addiction to Moultons). Back riding with friends and planning holidays again. Apart from discovering there are no hills or headwinds in ebike land I find the BMC rides beautifully with or without assistance and being able to take ten years off my legs with each press of a button is fantastic. I am back in love with cycling.

Hi the suspension uses a small rubber block at the top of the seat stays, it gives 10mm of movement from deflection in the chain stays, BMC developed it for MTBs. Small travel movement but like Moultons it’s all that’s needed.

Bromptons have the same - Alex Moulton used the same principal in his suspension design for the first Minis.
