Welcome.

Standard questions we ask are how old, fit, far, flat, fast and finance?
Then style and expectation.
Bexhill if I remember is small hills everywhere even fllowing the coast.

Hi

We are both pensioners but wish to carry the bikes on the back of our caravan so could be cycling anywhere both on and off road.

Lightness is a key factor here.

No wish to burst your bubble but carrying bikes on the back of a caravan is definitely out, very dangerous....inside maybe.

Real light is gtech but only recommended for young fit on flat.
The dealers here will suggest several bikes on light weight and assist levels.
You both need to test ride as many as you can. The Windsor if it's what I think it is is carp. Heavy and low range.
Halifrauds have a good deal on the e carrera at the moment.
Whoosh are in range for a visit, they do several budget bikes that you may really like.( the electrics on most bikes are the same Chinese gear)

I have a Juicybikes folder for sale at £350. I was talking to a couple only last weekend and they both had very similar to mine. They told me that these bikes were very popular in the motorhome/caravan fraternity
