I shall look forward to your review :) I'd have preferred more than 3 power settings, although they may have judged them perfectly.
Also when things wear out on the motor you should be able to get spares, whereas with the Bosch no motor spares are available.
Id like to think its a little while off before I wear anything out :) although saying that I went through 4 Bottom brackets in a year before I discovered ceramic bearings and a Hope BB, so you never know.

What this bike does have, is the stardard gearing and 20 gears, not just a single front cog drive, which might make the 3 or 4 power settings more manageble. We shall have to see.

Giant already had an 500Wh battery in their 2015 models, but the use their own batteries which is only useable with Giant bikes.

The standard Yamaha battery has 400Wh as it is used by Haibike, Winora, Wheeler and others. Those batteries should also be compatible with other bike brands.

The same goes for the display, it's Giants own display and only meant for those bikes.

But I wonder why Giant doesn't offer that bike for the german market. Looks good, I like it.
By how/why the hell are the pictures with Ultegra cranksets? Specs list FSA cranks and those Ultegra cranks are Hollowtech II's with integrated 24mm spindle.
