Finding my (electric) wheels

Hi everyone

Just wanted to introduce myself. I wanted to get cycling again - something I've hardly done since I was a kid - but didn't feel I'd have the "bottle" for the roads. Inspired by a friend who does a lot of riding I have bought a cheap second hand electric on ebay (A greenedge CS2) to test the waters. Over time I'm hoping to learn how to mantain and maybe even change the electrics etc on the bike and maybe get advice when I'm ready on my next purchase as well as help finding spares as they are needed.

I'll try not to be too annoying but I am a total newbie so I'll apologise in advance, sorry.

Yes, welcome. What that picture doesn't show is that when you finally reach the top you suddenly fall off the other side with a bang.
:D ....or you find a new hobby. I spent 3 yrs on the Nissan Elgrand forum, was getting bored and then my wife bought an ebike and here I am on my own learning curve

The altenative view is that having reached the plateau you suddenly discover the 'second wave', where you can embark on even more esoteric stuff, like weaving your own wheels or rebuilding battery packs..
