New to Pedelecs Forum - replacement battery for Suede

I've had two Giant Suedes for several years now but the range has dropped down to 2 miles on each. Is there any new battery system that is compatible and where can I pruchase?

I was hoping the new Gtech battery would be compatible but I'm told it isn't.

Any advice very much appreciated.

If they were my bikes, I'd gut the battery box, buy a 24v lithium bottle battery and run the wires to the contacts at the bottom of the old battery box. The rest of the box could be used as storage for waterproofs, tools, etc, or left empty.

Many thanks for your prompt reply. The current batteries are 36v. Am I right in thinking that I would need to replace like-for-like voltage? Would I also need to change the charger? Sorry; I'm not that competent with electrics!

In that case a 36v lithium bottle battery should work the same. You'll need a charger to go with the battery, but many suppliers sell the two together, especially the Chinese ones.
