new to ebikes and going touring

I`m a Kiwi living in Brisbane Australia, my wife and I are taking a career break (my mates say I have retired) to travel. Last week in Bordeaux we purchased an ebike each, mine is a Giant Explore E+0 and hers a Matra istep-active D10. We didn`t do much research but have cycled both on and off road for years so are pretty comfortable at this stage with our choices. Delivery is this Saturday to Tremolat in Aquitaine France where we are house sitting. On the 17th July we will load up and head south to Agen and pick up the Canal du Midi turning left to head towards the Mediterranean. Other than the above there is no other agenda and it will take as long as it takes. If anyone has either of these ebikes I would be interested to get their feedback. I`ll update with posts on delivery, initial impressions and how our trip progresses.

Might I suggest just before you get to Agen at Buzet turning south down the Baïse to Nerac and the route from Nerac to Agen

Hi anotherkiwi, we could do that however I was looking at a fairly direct route from Tremolat almost directly north of Agen. What is the attraction of that route if its particularly nice we could consider heading to Buzet first.
