Not sure if that is the right title or not but either way - here's me.
Hello everyone.

I'm a keen cyclist of many years, new to this e-biking thing.
As a fairly hard-core mountain biker primarily I've been fairly dismissive of the e-bike scene until I developed a kidney disease recently and went onto the transplant list for a new kidney this year.
Which led me to think about more "creative" ways to keep pedaling and with generous help from the boys at 50cycles.com this became possible via a new Kalkhoff Pro Connect X27.

Please see here for more:

Looking forward to swapping stories and learning lots from the community of pedelecs :)
Cheers for now,
Mat.

Welcome Matt. I look forward to hearing news on how you get on with the bike. The Pro Connect is a great bike but I don't think I'd take it off road up too many mountains.

Hi Jonah, indeed it's a cracker. Rest assured I plan to climb plenty of mountains as that what it does best - but on-road only! I ride an Orange Gyro MTB when I want to tackle the really rough stuff :)
