New model from Riese & Muller

With more and more ebikes having their battery packs mounted into the frame their shape is evolving. This is the latest model from Riese & Muller and features the new Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 4 motor and battery. More torque from the motor and longer battery life, can't be bad.....

The chunky downtube/top tube just doesn't do it for me along with the rear rack even if it is meant to be innovative. I think the Wayfarer looks better though again the downtube still quite doesn't do it for me.

The rear rack does look odd but it seems more substantial than those on the latest Woosh and Wisper ebikes which apparently rely on the mudguards to carry some of the weight!!

The chunky down and top tubes are to accommodate 2 * 500Wh battery packs, an example of "form follows function " as espoused by Porsche.

I wonder why they're not using the new Bosch 625Wh packs, is it availability or size???

the 625 packs are longer i think never liked the frame batts as makes the frame look way to wide adds more waight and a pita to carry a spare batt.

tho imo the rm is a 30kg bike anyway looks shite and loony price for the parts you get

If you guys think the r+m is "ugly" take a peek at these, fully modded up with genuine sheepskin, a real dog skeleton and goat horns & skulls! Underneath they are Corratec/Bosch/Shimano but no-one would even guess

Sqeaking brakes

I am getting fed up with adjusting my Avid BB7 disc brakes. I set them just right, but within a few miles they are squeaking. Seriously thinking of fitting rim brakes.

Somebody suggested at the time that his posts should be removed because they could result in injury, perhaps admin has done just that.
