hi all i am new to electric bikes and pedelecs forum , i bought a folding eco stepper for my wife and was so impressed i bought one for myself off e bay back in may . i have used this for work [14 miles round trip ] and have enjoyed every minute , so much so i am considering either converting my mountain bike or buying a bigger bike for the commute [ the 20inch wheels and gearing on the stepper has its limitations] . i was wondering if anyone out there would know where i could order a new led power controller , as the one on my bike has broken , i have found similar ones on the internet but not the exact one . mine has the no 980 written on it , just wondered if their was a supplier in the uk . thanks baz

Looking online I can't see a reason why a 790 wouldn't work ok. On/off with 3 level assist

I may have a spare one of these knocking about . I'll check when I get home and have a look at the wiring

Here is the 790 - it's for 36 volt

You may need to solder the wires as you'll be very lucky if the connectors match

Still yours if you want it

There are two wires going into each connector . I know one is three pin but only two are used

The colours are green and black on female 3 pin

And blue and red on the 2 pin male
