Thanks for prompt reply if they are both nearly identical it makes sense to go for the woosh with the money I would save would there be any advantage in going for the cd version

The CD can do 55-55 miles on a full charge but 2kgs heavier.
No advantage, not where you live unless you want to ride more than 25 miles at a time.

At only 10.5 st, you don't need a high-powered ebike. The advantage of the Woosh CD bikes is their strong slow climbing ability, which is good for those of us that ate one or two pies too many. A basic hub-motor would be OK for you.

Yes - setting1 seems to give very little power, I hardly use it unless I have a gale behind me.. Suggest you use 3 most of the time, unless it's very hilly or windy. You'll get some exercise but no sweat, which is what it's all about. I go for max 5 for hills. Done 26 miles this afternoon in almost calm conditions - fantastic ride!.

Also be aware when changing gear with the crank drive. This is how I do it.
1) stop pedalling
2) change gear
3) apply brake sufficiently to prevent motor starting up and gears changing at same time (bad idea)
4) Start pedalling with brake on and wait till gears change
5) release brake
6) Woosh up the hill!

another tip - keep an eye on your chain wear.

That's the beauty of the lecy drive. On a good bike super miles are possible. I did 38 one day. It is smooth easy riding then.
