Pretty well spot on for me Hatti on my 8Ah Batribike . Even after two and a half years` use , I am nearer the 10 Ah line . Should I wish to do a Reggie Perrin and do the one way trip , I could make it over the Bristol Channel and easily get to Minehead .

It works very well for me, seems to take the most direct route and I think, takes into account the terrain. An excellent piece of software. Many thanks, Don (from Somerset)
Unfortunately it doesn't really work for me
Unless I'm missing something (which is quite likely) it seems to always route me along major roads.
My favourite icecream route is from Roche (PL26 8**) to Padstow & it sends me along the Atlantic Highway; whereas there are 2 or more shorter & quieter routes.

We've added the Sport (thanks Annie) and also added a 'No highways' feature for you Baldylox so you can now go along quieter roads for your icecream (one of our friends belongs to the Rodda family BTW, well known for ice cream down there?). But you can also just plot your course in one way mode if you know the quieter roads, and you can also use the cycle tracks on the map (green dotted lines).

I tried it again and now it sends me up the main road, which it didn't before, both with and without the box ticked.
I didn't realise you were local - Did you get to Eden?
This'll teach me to post without checking proper: It works much better on win8 with Chrome - Much as you say, straight out through Withiel to Wadebridge Then Camel Trail.
One point though; the reason I don't go that way is the killer hills in & out of Withiel
I was trying it, initially, on an Android tablet, but it's too compacted on there & difficult to be accurate with tapping destinations & manipulating the map.

It still seems to be the same. If you use the post code TF3 4LZ and the click on Wheaton Aston (ENE on red circle), it takes me down the A5. If you change the destination to just south of the A5, it sends me along the cycle route. I'm not complaining. It's still pretty good.

I just found a bug. If you enter an invalid post code, it tells you so, and there's no way back. Even if you close the window and start again, before doing anything, it still tells you that you entered an invalid post code, so I can''t use it any more grrrr!
I just found that if I re-enter from the Woosh website, it works again.

A killer hill indication might well be very useful - we'll look at that.
D8veh, the invalid post code bug has now been fixed, thank you for telling us.
Also, your problem with the A5 doesn't seem to have an immediate solution - manually looking up Google is no better, there are a lot of houses in the area so it is tricky.

BTW I would love to see an element of the tool which does take altitude variation into account.
Jack - I still pedal a lot so I try to take routes which avoid big hills. Definitely avoid the run up to (and down from) Withiel, my preferred route is either The Old Coach Road out of Victoria. Then out left toward Ruthernbridge and north to join Camel Trail at Grogley Moor. This way is relatively flat by comparison with those made by the automatic route finder but longer (and much more picturesque IMO).
I never see e-bikes being ridden in my area, it's far to hilly. Yes really!
It's a weird fact that e-bikes are at their most popular in flat areas, the Netherlands being a famous example with the highest ratio of e-bike to ordinary bike sales in the world. I've noticed over the six years of this forum how popular they are in our unchallenging eastern counties and some of the gently rolling counties, while in at least some of the hillier areas like my North Downs, membership is very sparse. I've only known of two e-bikers in my area, one of whom has now switched to a 125cc motorbike!
Hopefully this may still change since there is now an e-bike dealer over to the west at Caterham, so perhaps the influence of the sales there will spread eastwards across the North Downs.

They beat the sn0t out of the battery, otherwise I'd go that way just to prove I can - Again! - Definitely one to be avoided, when I remember.
Baldylocks - Try going out through Tregonetha & Rosenannon to Ruthernbridge - Bootiful route; a bit longer but worth it: Plenty of climbing both ways, but steady ones.

I may be wrong but I think the WH may actually be the average power.
I put the same route in this (101WH) and CycleStreets and after reversing th KCal from cyclestreets back to power, I got roughly the same figure (102W). So at the predicted 44min, that would be ~75WH.
