New e bike rider

Afternoon all. My names Joe and I've just bought my first ebike woohoo. I have bought an eight month old Haibike Sduro 2.0 hardseven. Two days later I found a fault. The screen flashed so I read up to Change the Yamaha battery on screen. I have done so but it flashes and power cuts out after a while. Any answers to this problem please? Thanks

Thanks. Got orange DMR V6 pedals to go on it arriving tomorrow. Can't do much more to it than that.

sounds like a intermittent short in the display not much you can do bar buy a new one.

The power mode flashes on the Yamaha screen but everything else on the screen is working. The power switches off to the motor then. Help lol. Don't want to spend more money at the moment.

try clean the battery terminals on the display as could be a bad connection.

I've done that and changed the little flat battery. Gonna unscrew the skid plate and motor to check the terminals. Might be grit on them. Cheers for the help,

Fixed my ride. Sensor was out. Fitted new pedals. Loving it!

Will look better next week with new silver hope bash guard, orange chainring bolts, orange brake disc bolts and silver Hope qr seat clamp. Yeh baby
