New battery box for lights - new version

There seems to be a new kid on the block for those looking to power their lights using decent cells.

Quite a few members bought the old version which was fine but you had to charge the cells separately

This version seems to have a balance charge board inside so you can charge the whole pack. Yes there is a pointless led light but for six quid I’ve bought one to test out

I have a few lights . One of which is a 2 led solar storm which runs of USB for 4.99 delivered. It’s my favourite as
This outperforms my 3led solar storm which runs at 2s (8.4v) and runs off any phone charger battery. Except the old style 18650 case which has a dc and a usb. The usb will charge a phone but won’t run a light

I’ve never understood why the 2 led is better than the 3 and assumed the eBay seller lies about the led inside (supposed to be the same in both lights)

My other light is the one with a single led and the ring around the outside

Great light , awful build quality
