Tried out my new bars today on a 73 mile jaunt.
Beautiful no numbness and comfortable to ride.
PlanetX On one Geoff bars £25, a fraction of the price of Jones H bars.

Parked up next to the sleeping dragon, not gold so not Smaug.

The bars are great, riding style is more cruiser style now may be a little more upright and feels blooming marvellous. I already had a 130mm reach stem fitted which seems perfect now for theses bars with the extra sweep.

They look good as well! What did they cost and did you fit them yourself?
regards
Andy
Cost is in #1 and yes fitted my self, about 45mins to fit inc all sundrie items and positioning of said items to suit my comfort.

AK I have been looking in to two wheel bent's but as you know boy the price of even used one, comfort I keep reading is unequalled.
I have seen the usual offerings ideally if I was to go for one, thinking one with the same wheels probably 24" with option to use wider tyres up to 2.25".
Plus learning to ride again without falling over, the balance game changes and confidence starts all over again.

Other issue is test riding one !!!
There's a guy /seller in Camb's to will let you try out various types.

Many thanks, I missed the price in the first post, sorry!
But you did a great job and it looks strong and good looking! It "adds" something I feel!
Thanks for sharing too.....

The natural arm /hand geometry just feels right with these fitted , the bars are quite wide at 720mm though you can always chop them off by about 50mm each side.
I have another one on order for my 700c errand/commute bike and eventually may even get one for my mtb if and when I get a new mid drive installed.
Even the Swizzbee would benefit form having one fitted.
As can be read I'm a convert.

Any bike is easily transformed with good grips to make a ride better, aching arms /wrists and hand numbness can be the difference between and enjoyable ride or just another tedious one.

Riding gate is more upright with a wider arm stance, the arm/wrist position just feels more natural and comfy. The steering/riding style changes to a more relaxed luxurious style, probably comparing a change from Ford to a Roller or similar up market ride for comfort.
With the generous sweep back you may have to think about changing the stem for a longer one, in the pic I have a 130mm reach stem.

Our friend DeereJohn from Scandanavia fitted the Jones H to his mtb and extolled their virtues. the Geoff's are a similar copy of them.

I did get a few looks yesterday as I wafted along.
The " adds" something I feel! Is a more capacious looking cockpit and a stylish look.

Interesting set-up.
On the On-One website it quotes the 'Grip Length' as 215 mm - is this the distance from end of bars to first bar that clamps on the stem?
How does the bike react when negotiating sharp bends on the road - do the bars catch your legs?

That man is Kevin Dunsheath, very decent chap to do business with, if you can convince him to visit and have a go!
He is hard to contact, but let him know what you want/ or like to try, and he will share with you his knowledge.
Best to e-mail him .

Yes, 215mm to weld joint of the clamp bar.

No issue with road bends. I rode the Downs link for about 12 miles to Shoreham and a bit of S/Downs nr Falmer to the Winkie Mills (Jack & Jill), no issues with ride control/steering and certainly no leg contact on my Boardman 700c.

Forgot to mention you may need to extend brake and gear cables if you don't have excess slack on them, once fitted to the bars the extra width and angle set back will for sure make the cables tauter.
Now have them fitted to two bikes and loving them even more, the second set I also added the GP2 like grips from Planetx as they are a damn sight cheaper and function/feel much the same.
