I've been searching on Aliexpress for a replacement display and came across a model I've never seen before. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-sh ... eLevelAB=0

From the picture, there are 5 PAS levels and more interestingly a Bluetooth icon. I assume this is for connecting to a smartphone to display the speed as shown in the advert above. Unsure what other details can be displayed too. What I like about it is the small size keeping the handlebar clutter free since I rarely find the speedo useful.

Has anyone got one of these and can shed more light on this?

The holy grail! Now if they only made one of those for a KT controller...

The design is pretty ugly maybe it can be taken apart and the internals put in a 3D printed case...

From what we see it has the basic needs: assistance level, battery level and the three buttons. I think the BT light is there to show when you are paired to your BT device.

I'm confused. You say you don't want a speedo on your bike whilst you're actually riding it because it takes valuable space on your handlebars, but you do find having your cycle speed displayed via Bluetooth onto your 'phone a useful proposition?

No, I just mentioned what the purpose of Bluetooth is for rather than saying it is useful. I'm more interested if it does give other information that would be useful like real time wattage, current and voltage figures.

Ah, I see. Most of the standard Bafang displays do already have Wattage (Wh), Current (Ah), Voltage, Temperature (Motor or Ambient isn't clear) etc already configured in the standard LCD displays. Those functions just don't seem to be activated, which is disappointing.
