Need new battery where from please?

I need a new 36v or 48v lipo, 11ah or more. Size,appearance and key lock not important.
A compact size would fit in my pannier bag better.
I understand re-celling is not a cheaper option?
Anyone any suggestions please? Thanks, Mike

I was asking in another thread if this could be fitted to one of those rear rack battery cases. Could you put up some pics when you get to dismantle this?

no - unfortunately. This battery goes behind the seat post, the frame needs to have the chain stay and seat stay extended a bit to make room. Inside, you have a square long brick shape block. If you have a rare model of rear rack, at the bottom of this page, you see an example of recelling an old rear rack battery:

Hi, Its as in ebay pic. It slotts down behind the down tube. I am just using it strapped to a rack.
Let me know what picture you need, if you do still do?

I think I misunderstood your intention, thought you were just after the cells so getting rid of the casing. I just wanted to know if the cells could be unpacked to fit a different shape case.

I've haven't got a rack battery case yet but I thinking of using this type for my first bike conversion project.

you can unpack the cells to use in another project but the saving's not worth the effort. You'll also need to repack the cell with heat shrink sleeve, otherwise the cells will swell and die within a few hundred miles.
