++I went to the show today with a wallet full of fresh twenties, but I only used one to buy the £15.50 ticket, and came back with the rest.
Most of the electric bikes were all in one area, which was larger than I expected. There were a couple of names that I hadn't seen before, but most bikes were derivatives of the normal stuff. There were two new Bosch motored names: One was Ebco. They had a full suspension version for about £3000. Next was Panther. They were cheaper at £2000 (IIRC), but to me didn't look particularly attractive.
It was nice to meet up with the guys from the trade, some of whom I met before at Presteign.
I had to cringe sometimes as gullible members of the public, who admitted that they knew nothing about electric bikes but had the idea that they wanted one, were asking keen salesmen to help them out. Hopefully they got what they wanted.
