"The scooters are also equipped with nano-septic handlebar wraps, that the company said reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission by 99.98%."
Is this even a thing? I know silver is anti-bacterial but..!

Sounds like they've wrapped the handlebars in cling film!

Alternatively we could all just wash our hands a bit more regularly...

You are 100% right, but getting some people to EVER wash their hands, is just about impossible IMHO.
I remember, when visiting the toilet/wash room at work some years ago, I observe! But what I observed was that "Blue collar" workers, invariably wash their hands, but "White collar" workers, far less!
In the company, we would say that the finer the suite, the less likely they feel a need to wash their hands......
Whether its the same in the UK or other countries I could not say, but I am always grateful for toilets with paper towels, as I can use one to open the door with on my way out!
Some people are just disgusting!
I have actually refused to shake hands with some people for those sorts of reasons, saying I am getting a cold and I do not want to pass it on!
Or I go directly to where I can wash my hands, or sanitise them....
Shaking hands is a very misplaced form of good manners, IMHO!
And with COVID-19 around nowadays, its even more dangerous, as we all know!
Rant over. Sorry!

It begs the question, was that "before" or "after"?
Remembering my days on my tools a pre wash was often a requirement, so twice the need faced in later years.

Good point, which I basically ignored at the time, as I was only "noticing" those "leaving" the facility, unwashed!
Just for fun, I sometimes "invited" such people/leavers to wash their hands at the same sink, "in a friendly collegial manner" of course!
It "shamed" most into joining me!!!!

Andy
