Sorry to hear about the loss of your bike. Bedford is quite a small place - it'll probably be offered sometime on Gumtree or ebay in Bedford or nearby area as a cash sale?

Thank you for your reply. What worries me is: what happens when the battery runs out? Are thieves enclined to throw the bike to the river after it's more or less useless for them?

Oh for instance think theres (free ?) Bikeregister.com in uk.
Obviously to take pics of your bike, frame number etc.
Possibility to secretly mark bike and parts (if sold as spares).
