Tried again yesterday on the Haibike, but only managed an identical 42.5mph :(

Get the next Wiggle MTB ride out of the way, and I'll put the slicks on the BH, lock the front suspension and try again. The Haibike just doesn't seem the bike to get there.

You just need a steep enough hill. I got 43mph from the Woosh Sirocco CD first time out.

I couldn't work out why I couldn't go faster than 60 km/h on my £5 bike with Xiongda motor. After several attempts, I found out that the display doesn't go higher. I thought it was a bit of a coincidence that I always hit exactly 60.0 km/h!
