Me too... the guy has the same picture and description as the vbat site and claims to be one of the largest supplier of mobility scooter spares in the UK... I just hope he will agree to ship them my way, UK sellers seem more and more reluctant to send stuff abroad, even if by door-to-door courier, which I could eventually book myself...

Yes, that's increasingly true of many USA sellers too, unwilling to ship overseas. In their case it's often due to fears over credit card fraud.

Hi guys, just wanted to update on the status of my battery hunt. I found a website called tayna.co.uk that has a very wide range of SLA batteries for all applications. They have VRLA mobility batteries from £9.99 to £17.99 (in the 12V 7Ah that I wanted) and they deliver abroad for a reasonable P&P fee. In case this ever interests someone. I just bought 3 numax batteries for £54, including shipping.
