most sporty - e-bike ?!?

i found once a link to a electro-bike (very expensive)

it was powered by NiMh, batts included into the frame

it was red
power: i think 3 versions, 250Watt, 400Watt and 600Watt

it had no hub-motor
and for an untrained person not noticable, that it was an e-bike..

i can´t finde the link anymore...

do you know which bike i mean ?
AND: what other, sporty bikes are there around ?!?

very nice style..

the only downside is maybe, that you can´t take the battery with you (which is included in the frame) to your flat for charging...

what i don´t get realy: how is the power-system (motor) working in this bike ?!?

it seems so small (compared to a Flyer-F4-Motor)
can it still provide enough torque ?
or is there a gearing (planetary) included ?
if so, its maybe not the most quiet bike...

another very cool bike (for me) seems to be the Swizzbee

here also the question: how excactly is the tranny working ?
does the motor use the gearing, because it is said to be a excelent hill-climber.

78km/h on flat sounds wow (and dangerous as well)

wow.. thanx for the links...

as i see, its - unlike other versions, like this:

this of the swizzbee works with different rpms which were added...

on the two pics here: when the motor spins the pedal-shaft with 60rpm, i have to pedal as well with 60rpm and more to add power

for the swizzbee:

when the motor powers the sun-wheel with 60rpm
i still can pedal with 10rpm or with 40rpm or with 100rpm
and will still add power at all times to the planetary-wheelis-holder-box

and this two rpms are "summed" up (in the way of how much gearing is implemented by the theeth-values of the tranny-wheels)

hmm.. appears to me, to be a genial concept.

That's right kraeuterbutter, it's very ingenious. I'd like to be able to try one out for a few days to see what it's like in practice. It certainly seems promising.

on the other hand 78km/h have been done at flat with that bike !

I do think 78 kmh is stretching the imagination a bit! I imagine it must have been in very favourable conditions, a bit downhill and a following wind.
