i saw the click episode about it - it has a 4kw motor. I took some inspiration from Sheldon Brown (who very long ago converted a Raleigh twenty for off-road use - because of its very strong rigid frame) because I had an old Raleigh 20 - put a £208 BPM kit from BMS (with a 50 A controller) and suspension forks on it - it produces about 3kw with HK lipos and cost about £400 altogether. For sure its not military grade (it may be Chinese military grade) - but there's no way that cost even 5% of 25k to build

Listening to it reveals it's only the aluminium used in the frame claimed to be military grade.

Militarily about as useless as the praratrooper bicycle of WW2, no ascertainable records of them ever being of any use in an active situation.

I've not seen a BSA paratrooper one although they seem to command high prices on ebay cira £2500 but there was an example of the lesser known Raleigh folder sitting inside what is left of a WW2 Airspeed Horsa Glider in the de Havilland Museum in London Colney

Talking about military I see USMP's at RAF Lakenheath are using 5 Oxygens for their patrols now.
