Hello:

Planning on modifying the above bike.
Cannot find the specs. Can someone point me to the source and/or answer the following?

1. What is the wheel size: 26 inch/559mm or 650c?
2. Front and rear dropout spacing
3. size of tire that came with the bike
4. internal diameter & width of bottom bracket (seems to non-standard)
5. model of Magura brake that came with the bike

Thanks

There's never been any satisfactory answers to queries on the Mercedes e-bike of that era, crg.

They were made by the German Sachs company (originally Fichtel & Sachs) for Mercedes Benz between 1996 and 2004, but that company was sold in 2001 and is now known as ZF Sachs making automotive components. They seem hostile to contact by website, access blocked and entry only by password etc, and may not have retained any e-bike information of that old era.

This Sachs company is nothing to do with the Sachs bicycle gears company which was later bought by the American SRAM company.

Pedelecs member Wraggy had one of these for a while and may be able to answer some questions on such as tyre sizes. You can email him from this page of the site.
