To give it it's full title... It's a "Sahel Premium i360 Harmony" It is exactly 12 months old, supposedly with a further year on the warranty which I think 50 Cycles would honour....
....cost me £1650....I've done 3000 miles and charged the battery 80 times...less than 10% of expected life.
I think Flecc did a formulae for a bikes value...how does my bike stack up?

That's derived from the new price of your battery (£595) deducted from the original bike price (£1650), leaving £1055.

Then that reduced by 25% for the first year depreciation to leave £791.25 for the bike only.

The battery is depreciated on an age basis, which I've based on a three year life for it. Therefore the remaining two years life is worth two-thirds of the new battery price, £396.66.

Adding that back to the depreciated bike price gives us the selling price in a rounded pound figure.

The philosophy of this method is that batteries have shorter lives than bikes, meaning they should be calculated for separately.

You could argue that your battery will last four years, but it wouldn't make much difference (£49) to the selling price so a more acceptable to a buyer three year estimate is best.

The complete age depreciation scale for the bike less battery is as follows:

I year old bike: 25%
2 year old bike: 35%
3 year old bike: 45%
4 year old bike: 55%
5 year old bike: 60%
6 year old bike: 65%
7 year old bike: 70%
8 year old bike: 75%
9 year old bike: 80%

They will honour the warranty as long as you can include the original invoice preferably, or at least the invoice number.

With flecc's figure of £1188 in mind, would anyone like to make me an offer roundabout £1100 ?
Like I said it would need to be collected in Wakefield or I could courier it for £50 on top of the agreed, funds cleared, price.
I forgot to mention that there is no damage, no major scratches and it's now fitted with 2 x Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour tyres.

I took £750, but please realize this was my first Kalkhoff and not my second K
...Tasman impulse 8 which I still have, or rather 50 Cycles have and have had for the last 6 weeks.
Having no other transport I've had to buy another bike,
.....an Oxygen S-Cross CB.
