Well their video clip shows them standing on the pedals an awful lot.
Battery is very small, thus range claims suspect.
Chain stays meet the saddle tube too far down leading to unnecessary stress on the saddle tube.

The range they give for "hilly or full power" is 5 Wh/km - strong riders only please... They do say < than 50 km, just not how much < than...:D

When you have a 20-cell battery, you only get about 80% of the theoretical capacity because of the higher current per cell, so 200Wh on a fairly light efficient bike would give you between 20 to 40 miles, depending on how hard you pedal and how steep the hills are. They have the optional Xtra bottle battery to double that range if you need it.

I think the whole concept is really good. It looks like one of the few OEM bikes that I'd like to own, but it's way to expensive for what it is. £2000 - £2500 would be more like it. At £2000, I'd buy one.

Twice the price of the Orbea Gain, I think they are trying to flatter a different market segment, "hand polished frame" for example. My guess is rich young Spanish businessmen is more the target than you and I d8veh.

Thats in Euros. Fully charged in London want even more pounds than the euro price.

And there was me thinking the exchange rate was around 1.14 euros to the pound not the other way around That puts this bike touching £5k......ouch.

Shipping? Luxury tax?

On my trike a pinion box (12 speed C-line) adds 1600€ to the base price, that is 399€ less than the price of a cube bosch powered touring bike, the 18 speed P-line = the price of the cube...
