Any retailer online or shop will have one as it is a standard size front hub, you just need to find a through axle hub. Through axles sizes are 10,12,15 or 20mm so yours is more likely 12mm rather then 13mm.

Show us a pic of the axle parts.
The dimensions are the same as all hubs give take +/-1mm, the only difference is the axle fixing type used. Take it to your LBS and they should have something available. Depending in how much you want to spend, you may need to go online to buy it.

You have been reading Atomic Zombie ;)

There is a difference between DIY axles and factory made ones, you want to make the former as strong as you can and the engineers in the trike business have put lots of hours into making the latter as light and strong as they can too. If ICE, AZUB or HPVelotechnik 12 mm axles were failing we would probably know about it.
