I have been looking at folding bikes for a while especially since the tiny Xiongda YTW-06 arrived. Today came across a promo for an Ortler, ooops Ortler, derailleur fail...


One buyer comment on the site: "derailleur touched twice in the first 600 meters, bike unusable..."

Sounds like a derailleur that was bent in shipping. If you can install a hubmotor, you should be able to fix that.

No they used a long cage derailleur on that particular model (see photo), all their other models have short cages with enough road clearance. The easy fix is to replace with the 10 speed Zee but it is a 45€ fix...
