Local Cop Clampdown?

Considering the number of dodgy ebike conversions operating where I live (100s if not 1000s), I saw first one pulled by the cops. Given I was on my 'conversion' I stayed well clear however looks like it could be a 250W motor, wondering if they did him for the red light.

They kept him there for ages and male cop kept going in to boot to get I don't know what, we were wondering if he had some type of new 'ebike measuring legality device', sadly not...

There are loads of cops about (same spot as previous post), probably this guy deserved to get a pull for driving his gfs Ferrari , however, he wouldn't have made it 100yds up that road due to speed bumps...

Looks like a Rawbike? It's unlikely to be 250W, probably at least 500W.

Dont remember seeing them around by me. The cars with hi-viz all over them, I do recognise, they are Police cars.

Yes, from the thread title 'Local Cop Clampdown?' I wasn't sure if it was a clampdown on illegal ebikes, or a clampdown on your local cops (for example, if you live in London)

We don't have traffic police driving in London, there's too many slow moving traffic queues for car chases. I remember the cycling officers in the centre boasting that they made all the nicks for using a mobile phone at the wheel, being the only officers able to catch up and stop the guilty drivers.

And in the outer suburban areas almost all the policing is done with automated speed and ANPR cameras, we're infested with them. Just on my supermarket shop I pass four different speed cameras.
