Living room cycle maintenance..

Lost the chain changing gears for the 3rd time in as many weeks, hopefully its just a tweak of the gears but the 'top' gear has also started jumping which might just be down to the rear selector being out of line? anyway my hands go numb as soon as they cool down a bit, i cant feel a screwdriver engage etc.. and heating the garage is not a safe option so i will need to bring the bike into the warm. the plan is to lift it in onto a 2.5m square tarp. in the centre of the living room,

Any gotcha's i should look out for, im already prepared to dodge low hanging light fittings flipping the bike over.

I am sorry... I like to work on my bikes in my bedroom. Not sure how my wife is coping with that. Don't worry about anything, just get bike inside and do what you have to do.

The Chinese diesel heaters are very cheap and do the job very well.
