Hello everyone
My mom has an E-bike, but it is one of the cheaper ones, which you can buy at the big shops for construction equipment etc. I did some research and found that it probably is a converted bike, which has an Bafang hub-motor ( see attachement) a Bafang E06 Led Display.
with a Phylion battery and a Lishui controller.
the bike started to have problems when the led display started blinking when turned on. After some time only one Led stays on.
the bike does still have electrical support, but it feels like only in mode 1. The display does not react to any input.
this tells me the motor is still working, I have tested a new battery and the problem still exists.
this gave me the idea that the controller must have problems, i tried to find a replacement, but i haven't been able to find one on the internet.
my knowledge about these electrical components is not well enough to be able to select a alternative controller which will work with the existing set-up.
the last time i found that one of the connecting plugs on one of the phase wires was a bit melted, i replaced these and hoped the problem would have been solved, but this was not the case.
this is when is saw a red light blinking in the controller ( through the sock where the wires exit).
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
and maybe even with a possible solution.
Most thanks in advance.
Marnik
