For those of you who can't reach maximun speed, a small percentage came with an early form of Hill Assist as an extra, but it never caught on.
My guess is this is still activated. Once bike is started pull the front brake lever 3 times in quick siccession before setting off. This will deactivate it and you will find you will no longer have any restriction at the top end. I'm pretty sure that will sort it.

Not so. You need Heineken beer to reach the parts etc.
Just pour it into the battery charging port.
You will go like a bomb.
