Some additional trivia, my home in Milton Keynes stands at a height of only 72m above sea level, we were never been able to get an analogue TV signal, Freeview was quite poor, but Freesat is perfect.
At our flat in Bath (ground elevation 60m, though our aerial must be at about 72), we could only get four analogue channels and no digital ones because of the lie of the land, but since the switchover two years ago and a repositioning of the aerial, we get all the Freeview channels.

I am sick of all this bragging from people who live up in the mountains . Here in south Lincolnshire , the highest village is Amber Hill , which towers a mighty eight feet above sea level . It was a lovely quiet place until the base jumpers started coming .
Oh poo. Apparently my treasured South Lincs Mountian Rescue Team tee shirt has long since gone to the charity shop because I "hardly ever wore it 'cos it was green" :(

Anyhow, on thinking about this, does that mean that on a good day, the residents of Amber Hill can see Moscow without the beer crate then?

Cheers John! have been waiting for this to replace my foot pump that No 1 son nicked when he started Uni.........Even the clothes fit us larger gentleman....
Lidl is an underated store i have bought mototcycle gear, gardening stuff, cycle gear and our weekly food, since the the store was opened a couple of years ago more people seem to be going there. The power tools and other stuff are made in Germany, a country not renowned for shoddy quality.
