August 16, 20196 yr Hi Peoples. Can anyone tell me where I can replace spokes for the rear wheel of my Kudos Cobra? Unfortunately the local bicycle shops do not have the correct spokes , because of the motor. Is there any suggestions as to where to order them from. Alas Rally Design, who import the Kudos range were unable to help me! Cheers, Steve
August 16, 20196 yr Measure the spoke dia with a Vernier 2.3mm/13g spokes quite often used on OEM ebikes. You can and it is safe to use 2mm/14g spokes. I use Sapim butted strong spokes a 14g spoke with a 13g J bend, these are a good replacement. August 19, 20196 yr Alternatively, find a local wheel builder with a Phil Wood spoke cutter. Then if they don't have your size, they can make it in-house.
