Kudos bikes aka Raleigh Design have an ebike offer on at the mo.
The Rapide commuter model is £1195 and is now on offer at£1695 for two.

That's great value at £850 each. Plus it looks like they use the Phylion SF-06 battery which Yosepower sell for less than £200 if you want to carry a spare. Good spot

IIRC that offer has been going for a couple of years now. Although it's undoubtedly fine value, I can't imagine anyone wanting to buy two... it's not a "his'n' hers" style of e-bike.

They've been kicking around since before the "China Import Duty" was imposed. That's a long time for those batteries to be sitting idle.

If David wants to clear them, why doesn't he just offer them at £850 a piece (which is all he's getting anyway)?

The previous offer was for the Safari step thru, one could buy a pair for 995, now that was a bargain.

I notice Kudos have added a new folding bike (in citrus and tonic flavours) to their range in September '21. Although not ebike(s), IIRC they'll be the first new bike product they've added for a long, long time (since 2017?). I hope that means Kudos will be re-entering the fray and we might see some new e-bike models being added soon too?
