king meter J-LCD wont switch on

The wires to my LCD are...
Red
Black
Blue
Green
Yellow

so do I just connect red to blue and green to yellow? To test?

So I linked wires as said and it worked ok, I've attached pics of all the parts.

That's a bit awkward. You can still replace it, but it means you'll have to install the replacement in a frame bag or saddle bag.

Thats what I was thinking so really wanted an LCD that would work with this setup to keep it all compact and together

So today I connected my lishui bluetooth dongle without the LCD (I did try it the other day with the LCD but it did nothing) and it worked fine could control evetything so it is sure looking like the LCD has gone belly up sitting in the shed wish I could remember where I bought the dongle as I might get another.
