HI
I am a complete newby to leccie bikes. I bought a new machine which has a K lcd3 controller. When I turn it on it will only display the screen below in setup mode. The three 5's are the motor power which I can adjust up or down but I cannot exit setup. I have tried every combination of buttons, many times, but it appears to be stuck.
I know there is a factory reset (C10) in one of the sub menus but I cannot exit this screen.
Any help appreciated.

Just a stab in the dark, but your battery indicator looks empty. Is your battery fully charged?

If it is still under warranty, then get the vendor to sort it out. Even if you manage to reset it via the display, there's a reason why the display has locked and it may rear it's ugly head in the future.

Usually 10 miles from home

One of the advanced config options is wrong. Mine did that when I set up the new controller. Factory reset then input correct values all around.

If you turn the battery off then back on you go to the first screen? If not you have done something horribly wrong and may have ruined the LCD.

If you regain control go to C10 and choose yes then validate. You should be able then to start over from the beginning.

Anything could be wrong, but there's one thing to try if nothing else works. Those displays have automatic voltage detection, which can cause a few anomalies when it can't decide whether you have a fully charged 36v battery or a discharged 48v one. You have to make it convincing by making sure that your battery is at an unambiguous voltage before connecting to the display. That means fully charging a 48v one or getting a 36v one below 36v before connecting.

When my throttle and pas stopped working, the LCD-3 showed empty battery.I did not try altering setings just went looking for lose conections. My problem was the blue wire from the lcd-3 to controller.

Fully charged the 48v battery and it has made no difference

I have the exact same issue with a 48V11.6Ah Case-08 Bottle Panasonic Battery Pack with integrated controller and LCD3 from BMSBATTERY ! I've tried everything mentionned above without sucess...

I fully charged my battery and tested it with a volmeter showing a good 52v

BMSBATTERY is not responding yet :((
