Does anyone know if it is possible to gear up the Seago e-Power 36v model please with either a bigger front chain wheel or smaller rear one(s)?
My legs find it difficult to keep up when on the flat in full power :-(
Many thanks
Brian

A front one will be easier if you can go larger.
It is a five bolt fixing measure the bolt bcd center to center of the next one to see which it is, 94,110,130 ,135 or 145bcd . Then count your teeth on it so you know what next size to look for, likely you already have a 52/53t chain ring.

I know its been a while but I would still like to gear my Seago up! It doesn't look as simple as I had hoped. The gear wheel has 48 teeth and the bcd is 90.
The gearwheel seems to have been put on the pedal and then pressed on - as I hope can be seen in the photo.
Is it a lost cause or is there perhaps a bigger chainwheel that has the teeth offset to the fixing bolts such that it can be bolted on top of the existing chainring but still keep the chain's path please?

Your top gear will most likely have 14 teeth. You need a rear gearset with an 11T top gear for comfortable pedalling. Tell us how many speeds you have so that we can point you at the right one.

Thank you for the reply. I hadn't thought about reducing the number of teeth on top gear! The bicycle uses 7-speed Shimano gears - MF-TZ21 - and has a 14T top gear. It's a freewheel.
