I would not carry a second battery,but would leave it charging whilst using the main battery,this way you are always ready to ride,even when your main battery needs charging.
I see the logic in that, but if you travelled from A to B on a daily basis then you would have to come back to A for the newly charged battery?
But I guess if you kept one battery at A and one at B then you would certainly reap the benefits if your place of work allowed you to keep one on charge there that is? I charge up my mobile at work but am not quite sure if I would get away with charging a bike battery under my desk? :) But I guess I could do? :) so this is a very good point for anyone travelling longer than normal distances? But then you would just charge up your number one battery wouldn't you? But then that would depend on your hours.
However, having a back up if the first battery failed altogether could be a good choice, I just hope my one single battery serves okay for now as couldn't afford a spare Li ion! :eek:
