yes, maybe it's the camera's angle. It's the same rack on the Camino.

my concern would be the vulnerability of the seat-post tube.

it's supported by a substantial gusset, the seat tube is 400mm long.

The first batch of Gran Camino will go out to customers who have pre-ordered around 25-August.
The second batch should be here end October.
If you are interested, you can always email hatti@wooshbikes.co.uk - some customers would have found a bike before we can deliver and cancel at the last minute. In any case, there will be plenty of Camino in stock by then.

Wow. I really like the look of it. Emmm looks like I might put my idea of fitting a conversion kit on hold. Now comes the long job of softening up the misses. Looking at the time scale to get one, I should have a good while to work my magic.

It looks pretty good to me. I'll probably be recommending it. Personally, I prefer 48v, but there's nothing wrong with 36v. I have one comment for the next batch: The gearing looks a bit low for such a powerful system. What size is the chainwheel. I'd want 44T as a minimum.

I know usually 48V hub kits are recommended for those who are on the high side of 100kgs - would there be a big difference between the 36v on this bike and the 48v kits sold as hub kits? - seems to be the same motor but not sure of the differences tbh (https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?hubkits#dwg22c-48v-kit)

the two motors have the same max torque rating but the Gran-Camino has 36V 20A controller, the kit has 48V 18A controller, the kit has slightly better power delivery.
I don't have any Gran-Camino left in stock, next shipment is after Christmas.

Thanks for the quick reply - I've actually got one on order, hopefully being delivered next week. just enquiring as was slightly concerned as most recommendations were for 48v for my weight - would it be possible to upgrade the controller down the line if slight increase in power delivery was needed?

you can't upgrade the controller on the Gran-Camino.
The motor is wound to deliver optimal power at 15mph at 36V.
If you need more power, cancel your order and convert a bike with the 48V kit.
