Hello and pleasure to join the group(s). I frequent the canals and enjoy cycling but due to a knee injury I'm limited to range so bought a broken battery 36v 250watt pas. Got it at good price. Good bike too, hardtail, disc brakes, front suspension and 21speed.
I found the batteries and case damaged so ordered a new battery not realising being a rookie that the controller was incorporated. A tiny little unit. I've since learned is probably uart protocol. Having bought a new controller that wouldn't work. I reconnected old one and it fine and still using. I changed it as I wanted a throttle to give my knee a break. What I need to know is what controller I need to run a throttle for this motor. I really don't want to have to buy a new kit.
