On your moped, probably nearly! The battery when new would be 24 x 16 = 384Wh, and throttle only no pedalling you probably need to allow 20Wh per mile minimum, so just about manages 19 miles. A bit tight if batt is not new, or if hilly.Hi all again Just asking. but will a 24V 16Ah electric bike battery go 16 miles 8 there and back

Could you take the charger and get a boost at the halfway/destination point?
Otherwise go slow and hope for the best, take the charger in case you run out.
No not on the scooter, your 48v controller lvc won't suit the 24v battery.
24v is 29.4v max, lvc for 48v controller will be 39/40v.
2 x 24v in series will work.
Yes, that should work, if not too hilly, can she do a test ride?No I am on about my electric bike I'm selling not my moped. that has a 48V 30Ah battery its going great, and will defo do more than 16 miles on full charge, as did last Thursday night went 14 miles 7 each way.
I'm selling my old electric bike which is an old type called Phillips I think it was made in china LOL
it has a 24V 16Ah battery lithium one. and it was here years ago I came for help as it had 2 x 12V SLA batteries but you guys help me change it to lithium.
This lady who is interested asked if it will do 8 miles each way. which is should do plus they can also pedal to save battery

Well she said it’s for her Ukrainian guest. I did tell her it will probably need a rear. Tyre. Plus the motor is a bit noisy but that’s how those bikes are. I even said I would drop the price a bit. But looks as if I have put her off. As not heard no more. Maybe she thought by saying it’s for her Ukrainian guest I would feel sorry for her. No doubt she won’t be giving it to them free.Yes, that should work, if not too hilly, can she do a test ride?
I would always have a charger with me if unsure, people tend to be helpful if a charge is needed.
Well I don’t think it has a controller. Not what I have seen since owning the bike. As can’t find no info anywhere on it. All it says on side is PHILLIPS that’s 2 X L sOn low power it should do 30 - 35 miles on low power if the battery is in great condition , depends though how the power is controlled and whether speed or current control.
Its not worth the bother. its way too old now anyway. I have just had the same person asking where about I am so fingers crossed. I did say I would drop price a bit but only £20, as Im sure they can get a tyre for £20I tried the Chinese spelling "Phiwips", no results If it's this Chinese company called "Phillips", there's a phone number on this page. You never know, someone might have a spec sheet or manual to email:
Jiaxing Phillips Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd. - China Manufacturer
electric bike, electric bicycle, electric scooter, electric motorcycle, e-bike . from China Manufacturer Jiaxing Phillips Electric Bicycle Co., Ltd.www.trader-china.com
There will be a controller somewhere hidden under all that plastic, most likely in the portion on the seat tube.
I'd just change the tyre and charge full price or more, it'd be less of a brainer for the buyer. Add "Brand new rear tyre!" to the ad?Its not worth the bother. its way too old now anyway. Those phone numbers don't work, I've just tried them. Shame, I was really looking forward to asking about your "Phirrips" bikeIts not worth the bother. its way too old now anyway. It'd be easier to sell if nothing needs doing to it, straight after purchase?only trouble is I would have to unsolder the 2 wires to motor. Plus its a sod to get back on again the wheel I mean. had big problems before so not attempting that. will see what they say, that's if they still interested. as they go about 2 days then ask something else then another 2 days. do my head in. either they want it or they don't. cant be doing with people like that.
If it has a throttle, it'd be legal on that old bike (I think) and a very positive selling point to emphasise.only trouble is I would have to unsolder the 2 wires to motor.
