Hi can anyone help me please I've got an electric bike but as the weather is getting worse I would like to know if there is any indoor trainers available to buy so I can carry on doing a bit of cycling?
Thanks TedG for your reply but I was thinking about using my electric bike and using a turbo trainer if there's 1 available for an electric bike I've not much room my bike is already in the bedroom so dont want to buy another bike.Currently using Flow fitness DHT250i.
It has been excellent with a host of settings to cover all types of fitness.
Can't fault it after 4 years.
Google it for more details.
TheI have seen trainers for conventional bikes in various stores and they look fine but I don't have a conventional bike and therefore can't advise. I don't really like the idea, nor do I have the room inside for one but many certainly will.
As for the weight of an ebike on a "turbo trainer" I think perhaps you should wait on some other replies from someone who is using such a set up.
Also I have visions of the power kicking in and you imbedding yourself in a plasterboard wall.
The e bike would be used as an ordinary bike the battery wouldn't be switched on all it is is for me not having to buy a bike and using what I've I've already got.
What is your bike, what is your budget, and what sort of trainers are you interested or disinterested inHi can anyone help me please I've got an electric bike but as the weather is getting worse I would like to know if there is any indoor trainers available to buy so I can carry on doing a bit of cycling?
