With a fifty-mile round trip charity cycle coming next weekend I decided to eschew my Oxygen for my slick-tyred road bike on my 7 mile commute this morning. It took 15 mins longer than on my ebike and was naturally a bit more sweat-making but overall it was very pleasant and left me with a great sense of achievement. However, I don't think I would have fancied it at all if I hadn't racked up 1100 miles of ebike 'training' since purchasing the Oxygen last August. Ebiking has to be a good thing!

Yes Ebikes double or even treble your riding for pleasure range . I find that my 1982 Classic Suzuki `Roadie` Moped is doing less mileage these days as my Batribike Folder has taken over some of the trips .

It has worked wonders for my fitness, a 50 mile ride wouldn't bother me now but I'd never have dreamed of it a couple of years ago. There's a London to Brighton ride later in the year that I'd like to attempt, it's almost all off road. I just need a bike and the time to do it now.
