Yes Keith. I have read some excellent reports about it. And yes you can set up Android boxes to boot direct. I have an M8 box which I reflashed with Librelec and it is very fast and stable.

That's interesting. I only use my minix box for Kodi. When you reflash, does it no longer use the Andriod OS i.e. Is it no longer there, just Kodi?

Yes Libreelec is a small programme and when installing it it takes the other soft off so just boots straight into Kodi. Here are a couple of links for more info
