He did.

They're a nice, friendly and chatty couple. However, I did chuckle as they were 'having a workout', when I stopped them, by riding with the power switched off. I didn't realise that people did that.

I transpired that do to muscular problems he has bought a Cube E-MTB, but still rides his road bike.. Having seen my new Giant he rode away drooling.....
